Bavarian Mint Coffee Mix

Recipe makes 6 cups of drink mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup instant nonfat powdered dry milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup instant coffee
  • 12 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 12 hard peppermint candies, crushed

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or coffee grinder. Store in tightly covered container.
  2. Attach note: Cafe Bavarian Mint Coffee
    To serve combine 3 tablespoons of mix with 1 cup boiling water; stir to blend.


Cafe Mocha Drink Mix

Recipe makes 36 servings, or 2 quart sized canning jars
Ingredients:
  • 2 5/8 cups nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered coffee creamer (Coffeemate or Cremora)
  • 1 1/3 cups instant coffee granules
  • 1 1/3 cups instant chocolate drink mix, Nestle Quik
  • 3 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix

Directions:

  1. Sift all ingredients together; Store in an airtight container.
  2. To use: add 4 tbsp of mix to 8 oz of boiling/hot water.


Cappuccino Mix

Recipe makes 4 12oz jars
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups instant coffee granules
  • 2 cups powdered non-dairy creamer
  • 2 cups powdered chocolate drink mix
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or coffee grinder, blend until mixture is the consistency of fine powder. Store in tightly covered container or package in jars.
  2. Attach a note to each jar that reads: Cappuccino: Mix 3 tablespoons of powder with 6 fluid ounces hot water.


Chai Tea Mix

Recipe makes 36 servings
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
  • 1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer
  • 2 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or coffee grinder, blend until mixture is the consistency of fine powder. Store in tightly covered container.
  2. To serve: Stir 2 heaping tablespoons Chai tea mixture into a mug of hot water.

*Note*You may choose to omit the French vanilla creamer, and use 2 teaspoons vanilla extract instead. To do so, mix the vanilla into the sugar, let it dry, then break the sugar into smalllumps. Follow the same procedure as above.


Creamy Hot Chocolate Mix

Ingredients:
  • 11 cups powdered milk
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 11 ounces powdered coffee creamer
  • 2 lbs nestle' nesquick powdered chocolate milk mix
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix

Directions:

  1. Sift all ingredients together; Store in an airtight container.
  2. To use: Combine 1/3 cup of mix with 2/3 cups hot water.


Gingerbread Creamer for Coffee or Tea

Recipe makes 96 servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups powdered non-dairy creamer
  • 1/4 cup Splenda brown sugar blend or 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon clove

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; blend well.
  2. Place in a jar, bag or other container with directions stating "Add 1 well rounded teaspoon to hot coffee or tea."


Spanish Cocoa

Recipe makes 25 servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 4 cups French vanilla flavored powdered coffee creamer
  • 2 cups Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons dried orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground anise seed

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; blend well.
  2. Store in an airtight container, or separate into smaller jars for gift giving.
  3. To prepare, mix 1/4 cup of the cocoa mix with 1 1/2 cups of hot milk or boiling water.
